Brazilian authorities have announced the resumption of pre-listing for poultry meat exports to the European Union.
The pre-listing model was suspended in 2018 following European audits in Brazil in 2017
Brazil has recorded 217 cases of methanol poisoning following adulterated alcohol consumption.
The Ministry of Health (Ministério da Saúde) said 17 cases are confirmed and 200 are under investigation.
