Gordon Desserts recalls Sundae Shoppe Mochi Ice Cream because of undeclared wheat and soy

Gordon Desserts DBA Mochidoki, of Totowa, NJ, is recalling 5,016 shippers of its Sundae Shoppe Cookies and Cream Mochi Ice Cream because it contains undeclared wheat and soy, known allergens, not listed on the product label.

The recall, initiated on April 3, 2025, is classified as a Class II recall, indicating a low risk of serious health consequences, though temporary or reversible effects may occur. The recall remains ongoing, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The recalled products were distributed to retail locations in Connecticut, Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

As of the posting of this recall, no illnesses or adverse reactions have been reported in connection with this issue.

Consumers who have purchased the recalled Sundae Shoppe Cookies and Cream Mochi Ice Cream are urged not to consume it. The product should be discarded or returned to the place of purchase.
