Company recalls noodle cups because of undeclared allergens

Watson Enterprises Inc. is recalling two flavors of Nissin brand Big Cup Noodles in Canada because of undeclared shrimp and peanuts.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency posted the recall on March 28.

The noodle cups were available online and were also distributed to the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

Consumers can determine whether they have the recalled noodle cups by looking for the following label information:

Nissin brand Big Cup Noodle in 101-gram packages with the date code of 2025. 5.14 or 2025. 6.19 and the UPC number 4 902105 003374; or Nissin brand Big Cup Noodle Curry Flavor 120-gram packages with the date code 2025. 4.30 or 2025. 6.14 and the UPC number 4 902105 003381.

People with sensitivities or allergies to shrimp or peanuts should not eat these products. The products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

The recall notice did not include any product photos.
